Monarchs in the Classroom distributes educational materials (curriculum guides, monarch field guide, slide sets, etc.) to thousands of teachers and others throughout the US and Canada, and publishes student research on our website.  In addition, we conduct a larval monitoring project that involves volunteers across the breeding range of the eastern migratory population.  Like the tagging project, this will help us to understand short and long-term fluctuations in population numbers.
